About the Project
The Velorean team was honored to collaborate with producer Liza Glucoft and national organization NAMI on the creation of three PSA videos designed to guide parents, teens, and young adults on productive ways to find mental health for themselves and those that they love. From the beginning of the project, the Velorean team worked with NAMI to create a unique art direction that felt modern and relatable to a wide audience, with bold lines contrasting simple shapes. Each color palette was uniquely designed in all three videos with the specific audience in mind: parents, teens, and then young adults. Animation was done with a mixture of 2D rigged characters and motion graphics, with just a splash of traditional drawings to make transitional scenes pop.
